Based on the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in supporting persons with disabilities, the Jeddah Governorate Secretariat and Jeddah Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with Qaderoon Network, launch a community development initiative.
It aims to make Jeddah a society prepared for people with disabilities by holding a facility building competition to compete for the application of universal access standards in order to obtain a local accredited award.

Employment of Persons with disability
The Authority for the Care of People with Disabilities. Was established in 2018 by royal order.
Human Resources & Social Development. Every employer who employs twenty-five or more workers has the ability to employ people with disabilities, provided that their percentage is at least 4% of the total number of employees.
Enabling the integration of people with disabilities into the labor market. Increasing the percentage of people with disabilities who are able to work from 7.7% to 12.4%.
A Person with disability
Means every person proven under a medical report issued by the Ministry of Health (MOH) or hospitals of other governmental sectors or under one of the Implementing regulations of labor law and its annexes 14 identification cards issued by the Ministry of Labor and Social Development (MLSD) that has one or more permanent disability as in the following forms:
